Vendaval — the strong Atlantic and Mediterranean gale in Spanish, the moist unstoppable wind from the sea; also the Patagonian storm — names a paradox in Pilar Olivero's photograph. A scooter rests at the edge of a sandy brown cliff, covered by a grey-blue tarp; beyond, a vast calm sea under grey sky. Stillness as aftermath: the tarp protects what the vendaval would scatter; the horizon stays quiet while the word remembers violence. On cream oversized 260g cotton, the coastal scene is screen-printed through katagami, with Tifinagh symbols in the photograph's corner and a footer — "KATAZOME PRINT. HAND MADE IN PARIS & SPAIN." — that mirrors wind crossing the strait. Hand embroidery and trilingual notebook text join the print; three creators from Argentina, Chile, and Morocco finish each piece in Paris, translating analog film into a surface you can wear against the weather. Cotton weight, boxy cut, room for the body to move beneath the image.
