Marrakech medina, sun-washed and alive: a tan building with small windows rises behind a three-wheeled delivery cart, white canopy stretched over its load. Pilar Olivero captured the old city in motion — daily commerce, narrow streets, light pooling on plaster walls. Inside the print border, Arabic script spells أصلنا — Aslona — the brand written in the language of the place it photographs. This frame from her 35mm analog archive does not freeze the medina; it catches it mid-journey, cart and city intertwined in a single afternoon of movement.

Dual-scale prints land on dark brown cotton — not black, a depth closer to medina walls at dusk. Katagami transfers the analog photograph; white and red thread embroiders the borders by hand. Trilingual text screenprints from Pilar's notebooks in French, Arabic, and Spanish layer beneath the image. The oversized boxy cut in 260g cotton was built in Paris by three creators whose origins span Argentina, Chile, and Morocco — frontières deviennent poreuses in every stitch and every language on the cloth.

Wearing the Medina tee drapes Marrakech against your torso — the cart, the canopy, the word Aslona in Arabic script held close. Dark brown cotton absorbs city light; you move through streets carrying an old city that refuses to stand still, commerce and memory in motion together.
