PATAGONIA T-SHIRT

An upholstered sofa sits alone in tall dry grass and wild brush — plaid fabric still visible, domestic comfort returned to wilderness. Pilar Olivero found it in Patagonia, or perhaps Patagonia found it: a piece of furniture abandoned to landscape, still holding the shape of whoever once sat there. The photograph belongs to her 35mm analog archive, a quiet document of displacement — the sofa as traveler, the grass as home now. Domestic objects do not die when we leave them; they become monuments to the lives that passed through.

Katagami stencils lift that analog frame onto cream cotton in two scales — a small print upper-left, a larger one lower-center, like memory arriving in waves. Burgundy thread embroiders the borders by hand; Arabic calligraphy flows across the larger image. Screenprinted text in three languages — French, Arabic, Spanish — comes from Pilar's notebooks. The oversized boxy cut drapes the body in 260g cotton. Argentine and Chilean creators, alongside Moroccan craft, built this tee in Paris — three origins, one process, one piece.

On the body, the sofa becomes a companion rather than furniture. Cream cotton softens the abandoned scene into something wearable — Patagonian distance held close against the chest. You walk through the city carrying a discarded object that has finally found its traveler.
